Avatar Frontiers of Pandora How to change FOV

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is out now, and it presents players with the breathtaking beauty of Pandora’s expansive landscapes. The game’s stunning visuals, from the floating mountains to the lush, vibrant flora, immerse players in an unparalleled gaming experience. Now, as players traverse this visually mesmerizing world, the desire to tailor their Field of View (FOV) becomes paramount. An adjustable FOV option allows players to capture the full grandeur of Pandora, ensuring that every moment is a feast for the eyes and heightening the overall immersion. So, how do you change the FOV in the game? Well, keep reading to know the answer.

In modern gaming, the demand for an adjustable Field of View (FOV) has become a staple expectation among players. FOV refers to the extent of the observable game world at any given moment. Players seek this feature for a variety of reasons, primarily to customize their visual experience. A flexible FOV not only accommodates individual preferences but also addresses concerns related to motion sickness, enhances spatial awareness, and contributes to an overall more immersive gameplay environment, perfect for any casual RPG. So, when players ask for the same feature in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, it is understandable.

Fortunately, the game provides players with the ability to adjust their Field of View (FOV) through in-game settings. Notably, there are two distinct FOV settings available for customization. We have discussed both of these settings below.

FOV (regular)

This is the normal Field of View that you can adjust. To access this setting, head to the Gameplay Settings tab from the Main Menu of the game. Keep scrolling until you see the option that reads “Field of View”. Notice that there is a slider to the right. You can adjust the slider to varying degrees to tweak the FOV. If you are one of those players who does not like a wide FOV and prefers it to be as shallow as possible, simply sliding the pointer on the slider to the extreme left will let you have a very narrow FOV.

FOV (Sprinting)

In Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, players have a secondary FOV option that specifically addresses the change in perspective while sprinting. This option is just below the regular FOV slider discussed above. By default, this option is toggled on, aiming to mitigate motion sickness. This FOV adjust option, however, does not have a slider like in the case of the normal FOV option. It is simply a toggle On/Off option. So, there is no way to adjust the spriting FOV to the exact degree you want. It seems like widening the FOV during sprinting is designed for comfort. The consensus is that widening the FOV while sprinting will lose the perception of speed and make your character feel a bit slower while sprinting. Still, this toggle can be turned off if you feel unaffected or prefer a different sprinting experience.

With this guide, we hope you were able to adjust the FOV to your liking and get the most out of the visuals of Pandora.
