Update: We have good news to share. Mundfish has officially acknowledged the request of many fans to include a FOV slider in the game. They said that such a setting will be included in an upcoming update. So, you won’t need to download any third-party application to adjust this setting anymore. However, an official release date for such an update hasn’t been released yet.

Atomic Heart is the recently released first-person shooter action role-playing game that takes place in an alternative universe in the Soviet Union in the 1950s. The game is developed by Mundfish and published by

Xbox Series X/S. With its recent release, one of the features that players are looking forward to in Atomic Heart is the FOV (Field of View) slider. If you also wonder whether this game features a FOV Slider or not, then you must continue reading this guide till the end.
Atomic Heart FOV Slider
A FOV slider is an essential feature in first-person shooter games as it allows players to adjust the width of their in-game view. A wider field of view provides players with a greater sense of immersion, as it enables them to see more of the game world and enemies around them. On the other hand, a narrow field of view can lead to tunnel vision, making it harder for players to spot enemies and obstacles.
Speaking of Atomic Heart, it does not have an integrated FOV slider feature that lets you control the Field of View level in the game. However, there is a workaround that you can apply to change the FOV. Before heading towards the steps, you must be aware that you will be installing a third-party application to tweak up the FOV in Atomic Heart. So, you must proceed with caution.
Well, you have to install Flawless Widescreen. So, start by downloading the file from the official website. Once the installation is complete, launch the program. On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see a list of available plugins. Look for Atomic Heart by scrolling down the list. Once you have found it, click on it to automatically download the plugin. You should now see Atomic Heart under FWS Plugins. Click on it to access all the available fixes, which should all be checked. After experimenting, many players found that setting the FOV level to 15-20% provided the best results.
However, feel free to try different values and see what works for you. Once you have set the value, launch the game with FWS running in the background.
