Asus ROG Phone 4 Release Date, Specifications & more

Asus has two smartphone series – ROG Series, and Zenfone Series. On one hand, where ROG is a premium gaming smartphone series, the Zenfone series has powerful mid-range phones. Asus’ budget smartphones such as Zenfone Max M2, Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone Max Pro M2 were very much loved by the audience. Asus launched its gaming phone, ROG Phone 3 in August this year. This phone became the favorite phone of gamers and it was also loved by tech enthusiasts. And now it’s ROG Phone 4’s turn to shake the market.

Asus ROG Phone 4 Software:

The next smartphone in the ROG series, the ROG Phone 4 is expected to come with ZenUI which will be based on Android 11. Android 11 gives a new refined interaction with UI, screenshots scrolling, and combining, better screen recording with internal audio capture and better one-handed mode are some other features that Android users are expecting. In addition to it, we get NFC file transfer, Chat bubble, Battery and storage enhancements, and an Enhanced Do Not Disturb Mode.

Asus ROG Phone 4 Hardware:

We expect the Asus ROG phone to bring an HDR10+ QHD+ AMOLED display with variable frequency, that allows you to adjust the screen refreshment rate between 30Hz to 120Hz. The handset is much anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 875, or it may even bring Qualcomm Snapdragon 875+ under the hood. We can expect a 16GB RAM and a 512GB ROM with this phone, to make every game seamless and lag-free. We can also expect this phone to come with some premium features such as VC liquid cooling, multi-layer graphite, thermal sensor array, and Graphene for effective temperature management, as we can see in Mi 10 Ultra.

As far as the battery is concerned, ROG Phone 3 already brought a 6000 mAh battery, so we can see a similar battery or even a 6500 mAh battery.

Asus ROG Phone 4 Release Date:

Looking at the track record of Asus, it usually launches a new ROG phone in August/September every year. So, we expect Asus ROG Phone 4 to release in August 2021. It may be priced around 55,000 – 60,000 INR for 12GB RAM variant and 65000 – 70000 INR for 16GB RAM.
