Unfortunately, there isn’t a go-to fix for this error code 100, but don’t you worry, we do have different steps for you to try, and these should be able to allow you to log into Apex Legends. The issue arises mainly due to unstable connectivity or issues with your EA account.

Change your DNS settings.

Most of the gamers in the community have mentioned that changing DNS settings has resolved the error code 100 in the game. Changing the DNS settings on your PC can be a hassle, but we have provided a solution to resolve this error.

PC

  • First, you will need to open the Run command prompt by pressing the Windows key plus R. In this window, you must type in “ncpa.cpl”. This will easily allow you to open your Network Connections window.
  • You can then right-click on your network and select the Properties option.
  • You will notice a tab pop up, and among the different settings you will be able to notice “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).” Select this and click on its Properties.
  • Then you will be able to set the DNS settings by clicking on “Use the following DNS server addresses.” Set the primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the alternate DNS to 8.8.4.4. Upon changing the addresses, you will need to hit “OK” to save these changes and restart your system. This should allow the changes to take effect and resolve Error Code 100.

If you are on a console, then follow the steps below:

XBOX

  • Go to the Xbox settings menu and select General.
  • Then select Network settings, and then select Advanced settings on this menu.
  • You can then simply select the DNS setting and set it to manual. This will allow you to change the DNS address to 8.8.8.8 for the primary address and 8.8.4.4. for the secondary address.
  • Restart your XBOX console, and you should now be able to log in to Apex Legends.

PlayStation

  • Go into your PS settings and choose “Network.”
  • You will then need to select Settings on this menu and choose “Set Up Internet Connection.” Select the internet connection you use and then navigate to Advanced Settings. Select the DNS settings, and here you will be able to toggle from automatic to manual.
  • Set new addresses as 8.8.8.8 for the primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the secondary DNS. Select OK and connect to the network. Once successfully connected, you can restart your console and continue playing Apex Legends.

Check your connectivity

If the problem persists, then you will need to ensure that you have a stable connection. Most of the time, you might not have a stable connection if you’re playing on WiFi. To fix this, you can hook up an Ethernet cable from your router to the system running Apex Legends. This should fix your unstable connectivity and resolve the error.

Restart your network

You will need to reset your modem. This occasionally allows the network to refresh, which can resolve the Error Code 100 in the game.

Disable VPN

Sometimes, if you have a VPN service on, it’s possible the game is not able to connect properly. Ensure that you have turned off your VPN before logging in.

Check Server Status

If the game servers are down, then you might face this issue. So, make sure to check the server status of the game to rule out this possibility.

That said, if none of these steps resolves the issue, you can contact EA Support. They will be able to diagnose the issue and get back to you with a solution to fix it. This article was on how you can fix Apex Legends Error Code 100. For more guides similar to this one, visit Digistatement.
