Hello gamers, so we all know and some of us might have also tried AO Tennis 2. For the new ones here, AO Tennis 2 is a tennis based game developed by Big Ant Studios and was released back on 11 February 2020. Let’s discuss it.
So, if you are somewhat a gamer, you may know there are not many console games on tennis, it’s not just tennis many sports like Boxing which we commonly watch and know about don’t have a major game made on. But thankfully, Big Ant Studios brought us AO Tennis which was widely welcomed by the community. It has a healthy score of 69/100 on Metacritic. AO Tennis 2 attracted a good amount of crowd due its immersive gameplay.
So AO Tennis 3 is something that would definitely be a headline on the news. So below we have discussed some major features and updates which are speculated to be included in the next AO Tennis. Let’s hop in.
I have basically divided this list into two parts, the first one will contain features and problems that exist but need improvement and the second one contains the new speculated feature which could make it in-game.
Below are the main problems and features which dropped the total experience and would like to see them being fixed in the next installment of the series.
    1. It’s just too plain
Though the game is appreciated very much for its immersive and engaging game modes. In a world of games where every day a new feature is added to keep the interest, AO Tennis 2 failed to keep the audience engaged and hence reduced the longevity of the game. But we hope that in AO Tennis 3 we get to see many more diverse options to experience instead of just career modes and multiplayer modes.
    2. Loading time is just…
So the loading time just beats GTA 5 loading time by what 3 seconds( Just kidding) but the loading time… OMG.
    3. Graphics are not that great
Even though the game has subtle and acceptable graphics it just doesn’t justify, as it was launched in 2020. Well, every new game is just pushing the boundaries further and setting new benchmarks it seems AO Tennis 2 developers didn’t give much effort to make it a graphics centeric game.
Now we will talk about the speculated and anticipated features which we would love to see.
- New Stadiums
- More players
- New improved career mode
- Next-gen consoles compatibility
When talking about Next-gen consoles like PS5, Xbox series X. We would really love to see the addition of Ray Tracing, it is just a new feature coming with modern tech, what it basically does is artificially compute and analyzes how sunlight or any light would be obstructed, reflected, refracted by any surface which makes the gameplay more realistic.
As per the release dates are concerned we may not see the game anytime soon as in an interview with Stevivor Big Ant’s, Ross Symons told that there won’t be as regular installations of the game as we see in the FIFA, NBA lineups but there would be sequels like AO Tennis 3,4,5 but not anytime soon he quoted.
