PS5: Watch YouTube Videos Simultaneously
Click on the PlayStation (PS) button from your controller to access the Quick Menu. As the Quick Menu opens up, select Game Base. Therefore, from the Game Base, you would be selecting a party or a friend. Select the Party/Friend of your choice. Once the Party/Friend page opens up. scroll down and select Messages. From here, click on View Messages.
From here, you will be redirected to a new page, where you can enter and send the message. Therefore, in the Enter a message tab, type youtube.com and press R2. This would create a Web Browser message which you can open up. Now tap on the message and YouTube would open up. Now click on the Options button. From here, you will get the option of Pin To Side. Now based on your convenience, you can keep it towards the left or the right-hand side. Now you can switch back to your game. From the Switcher option in the Quick Menu access, you can go back to your game. You will notice how the YouTube page is on one side and your game is running on another. Click on the PS button twice quickly and you can open the YouTube page. If you want to open the entire page, just click on the Options button and you will get the option of Resize. With this, you can get a bigger page size of YouTube. Therefore, you can press the PS button again and the YouTube page will reduce back to the previous smaller size.
Multitasking in PS5
You can also use the Microphone on your PS5 controller to opt for Voice search. You will get the option on the on-screen keyboard. Just select the Microphone option on the bottom side of the keyboard and you will get to see the Voice search option. Speak on your controller microphone and press R2 to enter your search. You can go to the home page and YouTube would still run side-by-side.
