Developed and published by Cold Iron Studios, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a 2021 multiplayer third-person shooter game. This recently released game revolves around 5 character classes, four-story campaigns (with 3 missions each), five levels of difficulties, and twenty types of enemies. It is currently available to play on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Coming back to the topic, this game has received a major update recently. Alien Fireteam Elite Season 1 update
The name of the first season in Alien Fireteam Elite is “Season 1: Phalanx”. This update brings many new items into the game including the free new combat-shield-wielding Phalanx class Kit. This item is now available for every player. To claim this item, the player just has to update their game and log in to their account in this season.
The Phalanx Shields are the mobile bunkers that players can carry in battle. As one arm is needed to hold the shield up, they are armed with a Handgun and CQW, both of which can be wielded in one hand. When swarmed, they can trigger a point-blank Shock Pulse to disrupt foes.
Adding to the items, four new weapons are also getting introduced in the massive update. They are:
- L33 Pike – Rifle.
- L59 Minigun – Heavy.
- Type 88 Heavy Assault Rifle – Rifle.
- N79 EVA Laser – Handgun.
Along with these, many other additions have been made. Two New Gun Colorways (Fleck Camo Autumn, Marble Gray), Two New Gun Decals (Nuke From Orbit, Nostromo), and One New Head Accessory (Cowboy Hat – Straw) have also been added to the game.
