Pokemon Go shiny Gothita

Pokemon Go, a different gameplay style than the titles you find in the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Go uses Augmented Reality, this also helps in making the game as immersive as possible, new players to Pokemon Go tend to get confused as to how they can revive or heal their Pokemon since there are no Pokemon Centers. In this article, we will explain what you can use to revive or heal your Pokemon and where you can get them from.

Pokemon can faint during battle if lost all their HP or can simply lose substantial amounts of HP after a difficult battle, a way to help increase your Pokemon health is to use potions, which when consumed by a Pokemon will increase their HP.

Pokemon

Potions in Pokemon GO

You can receive potions in Pokemon GO, by leveling up, spinning the photo disc at a Gym or Pokestop, defeating Raid Bosses, completing researches and tasks. You can receive 4 different types of potions, each recovers a different amount of health.

The potions are listed below.

  • Regular Potion: available at photo disc from level 5 onwards and restores 20 HP
  • Super Potion: obtainable from level 10 onwards from photo disc and restores 50 HP
  • Hyper Potion: once again it is obtainable from the photo disc at Level 15 and restores 200 HP, this potion is also rewarded when leveling from 15 to 24
  • Max Potion: the best potion which you can get from level 25 onwards and fully restore HP, you can get it from a photo disc or as a reward when leveling up from 25.

Revives in Pokemon GO

Revives allow you to, well as the name says, revive fainted Pokemon, this only works on Pokemon with 0 HP, and like the potions, they can be acquired by leveling up, spinning photo disc at a Gym or Pokestop, defeating Raid boss, Completing research and tasks.

There are two types of Revive, both of which have been listed below.

  • Regular Revive: This revive can be obtained from the photo disc at level 5 onwards and restores half the HP of a fainted Pokemon.
  • Max Revive: Max revive can be obtained from the photo disc at level 30 and is even rewarded for leveling up from level 30 onwards. Max revive restores the entire HP of a fainted Pokemon.
