Nvidia driver Optimization

As Windows 11 is all set to release. let’s see, what are the best settings you can choose to optimize your Nvidia drivers. Optimizing your Nvidia drivers will give you lower latency, better FPS, etc which will improve your overall gaming experience.

Where can you download the drivers?

To download the latest drivers of Nvidia just go to this link.

On the website, select your product type, product series, and product according to what you have on your system.

  • In the operating system, currently, the site is not showing Windows 11 so select windows 10 (64-bit) as currently there is not much difference between the two.
  • In windows driver type select “standard”
  • language: whatever you prefer
  • In Recommended/Beta select “all”

And download and install the driver on your PC.

Let’s start with optimizing the driver.

To open the Nvidia control panel, right-click on the home screen and there you will see the Nvidia control panel.

When you open the control panel the first setting you will see is “3D setting”

  • In the preview section of the 3D setting make sure to select the “Use the advanced 3D image settings” option. After selecting just click on the “take me there” button.
  • This will take you to the 3D setting submenu.

In the menu select the same settings mention below:

Feature Setting
Image Sharpening Sharpening Off, Scaling disabled
Ambient Occlusion off
Anisotropic filtering Application-controlled
Antialiasing – FXAA off
Antialiasing – Gamma correction On
Antialiasing – Mode Application-controlled
Antialiasing – Setting Application-controlled
Antialiasing – Transparency off
Background Application Max Frame Rate off
CUDA – GPUs All
DSR – Factors off
DSR – Smoothness off
Low Latency Mode On
Max Frame Rate off
Monitor Technology G-SYNC
Multi-Frame Sampled A (MFAA) off
OpenGL rendering GPU Auto-select
Power management mode Prefer maximum performance
Preferred refresh rate (Dell S2417DG) Highest available
Shader Cache On
Texture filtering – Anisotropic sample option off
Texture filtering – Negative LOD bias Allow
Texture filtering – Quality High performance
Texture filtering – Trilinear optimization On
Threaded optimization Auto

The number of settings will depend on the type of graphic card you have if you have any different settings from the above just choose the Nvidia suggested setting, which will be marked by the Nvidia logo. We recommend you do these changes on the global settings page and not on the program settings.

The second setting that you will see on that page is “Display”

  • The first option in Display will be “change resolution”.
  • In this setting select the maximum setting for Resolution and refresh rate.
  • At the bottom of the page you will see two options for the color setting, Just select “use NVIDIA color settings” and change the dynamic range to full.

Other than that, If you have a G-SYNC monitor. We recommend you Enable G-SYNC and then enabling it for both windowed and full-screen mode.

After that clicking on “apply” which will fully optimize your Nvidia driver.

I hope this article will help you and if you have any doubt feel free to ask us as we are always happy to help.
