In today’s age, where social distancing is a must and people cannot gather, reaching each other online is the safest way. The Microsoft Teams app has been one of the most used apps for video conferencing and in schools and colleges as digital classrooms. It was launched back in 2017 and today has more than 75 million daily active users. Teams is available on all major platforms like Windows, Mac, IOS and Android and can also be accessed via a web browser.
Teams is also being used by offices for geting their work done. People working always need to get approvals from their higher ups and also students too need to get approval of their work from their teachers. Thus, Microsoft introduced the Approvals app.
The Approvals app allows the user to create, manage and share approvals directly. Users can start the approvals flow in a chat, channel conversation or through the Approvals app itself. Each request is displayed along with key details such as the status, source, requestor, and approvers in the app. Users can also view who has approved requests and rejected them. Users will also be able to get electronic signatures which are required in some workflows. The Approvals app is not showing up for tenants as reported by users on the Microsoft Community website.
On the Microsoft’s community website, it still says that the app will be available soon. So we guess, users and tenants will just have to wait for this feature to roll out to the masses. You can also check for the availability of the app at the M365 Roadmap website here.
