Just when we thought Pulsefire skins were enough for us, Riot tried once again to do an outstanding job when it comes to cosmetic items.
Although we learned in the Roadmap for 2020 that the Astronaut Bard was waiting for us, we did not know when that would happen. Although Poppy and Gnar also get their own versions of the skins, Bard definitely stands out, especially since his Meeps are being replaced by little aliens.
We still don’t know the price of the skins, since they should come to PBE in the next few days.

Skills
The Relentless Storm (passive)
Volibear receives 3% attack speed each time it deals damage. Stacks up to 5 times.
Lightning Claws: At 5 stacks, Volibear sets fire to the enemy, setting it on fire. The basic attack then deals 11-60 (+ 40% AP) bonus magic damage to the 5 nearest enemies. Volibear must deal damage within 6 seconds to sustain this effect.
Thundering Smash (Q)
- Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds
- Mana: 50
Volibear receives 10/15/20/25/30% movement speed for 4 seconds (or 20/30/40/50/60% when running towards enemies) and the ability to pass through units.
When the skill is active, the next basic Volibear attack will deal bonus damage of 25/50/75/100/125 (+ 120% bonus AD) to the first target it attacks and will collapse it for 1 second.
Volibear becomes enraged if the enemy immobilizes him before he stuns him, thereby resetting this ability and its cooldown.
Frenzied Maul (W)
- Cooldown: 5 seconds
- Mana: 30/35/40/45/50
Volibear deals 10/35/60/85/110 physical damage (+ 100% total AD) (+ 6% bonus health), applying effects on hit and marking it for 8 seconds. Reusing skills on a target causes 50% more damage and heals Volibear by 20/35/50/65/80 health points + 8/10/12/16/20% missing health (50% effectiveness on minions).
Sky Splitter (E)
- Cooldown: 15 seconds
- Mana: 60
After a delay, Volibear summons lightning to a selected location. Lightning deals 60/90/120/150/180 (+ 80% AP) magic damage (+ 7 / 8.5 / 10 / 11.5 / 13% target’s maximum health) and slows enemies by 40% for 2 seconds . Damage limit for non-hero enemies: 100/200/300/400/500.
If Volibear is in the infested zone, he receives a shield of 15% maximum health (+ 80% AP) for 3 seconds.
Stormbringer (R)
- Cooldown: 160/140/120 seconds
- Mana: 100
Volibear transforms and jumps to the target location. Gets 200/400/600 health, 50 attack range and the ability to move through units for the next 12 seconds.
After landing, nearby towers are turned off for 2/4/6 seconds and receive 250/475/700 physical damage (+ 250% bonus AD) (+ 150% AP). Nearby enemies are slowed by 50% (slowdown expiring for 1 second). Enemies directly under Volibear receive 250/475/700 physical damage (+ 250% bonus AD) (+ 150% AP).
