Seems like patch 10.9 will see another nerf to Wukong after his rework 3 patches back. The League of Legends patch 10.9 is currently up on the Public Beta Environment and it reveals the addition of FunPlus Phoenix World 2019 Skins and various balances changes.
The scheduled date for the release of patch 10.9 according to Riot official is April 29 which is when the patch will go live on the pub servers.

Our Fiddlesticks is on the rise with the recent patches focussing a Buff on him. I can’t wait to see the professional implication of these collective changes. Other buffed champion is Quinn. Karthus and Wukong are the most notable nerfs. The Sanguine Blade has dropped in its cost too.
Patch 10.9 also introduces five brand new skins to League of Legends. Players hopping onto the PBE can try out the FPX Gangplank, FPX Lee Sin, FPX Malphite, FPX Thresh and FPX Vayne skins, each one costing 1350 RP.
Here are all the changes introduced to League of Legends in Patch 10.9:
- The Summoner Rift Ranked Split 1 rolls into Split 2 on Sunday, May 3 at 11:59 PDT. Last chance for you to grab that exclusive Split 1 Aphelios Summoner Icon, Emote and armour Upgrade before next split.
Bard – Nerfed
Due to certain high ranked solo queue wins by Bard, the roaming capacity of the champion is nerfed.
Caretaker’s Shrine (W):
- Cooldown increased to 14 from 12
- Movement speed decreased to 30% from 50%
Magical Journey (E):
- Cooldown increased to 22/20.5/19/17.5/16 from 18/17/16/15/14
Cho’gath – Buffed
Top lane has been tough for Cho’gath so a buff to make him a tankier opponent.
Vorpal Spikes (E):
- Damage increased to 22/37/52/67/82 from 22/34/46/58/70
Fiddlesticks – Buffed
A simple more sustain help for a partner for fiddlesticks, higher damage for better support-in-lane
Reap (E):
- Damage increased to 70/105/140/175/210 from 70/100/130/160/190
Gnar – Buffed
Devs felt Gnar underwhelming, so a periodic increase will help gauge his potential.
Boulder Toss (Mega Q):
- Cooldown refund amount increased to 70% from 60%
Crunch (Mega E):
- Damage increased to 80/115/150/185/220 from 50/85/120/155/190
Karthus – Nerfed
To allow Karthus to get more active on the map than sitting in jungle but not nudging back mid Karthus.
Stats:
- Movement speed decreased to 325 from 335
Kayn – Buffed
A big buff seeing a more wave clear and high skirmish damage potential.
Q cooldown decreased; bonus damage now applies to minions. W decaying slow increased.
Reaping Slash (Q):
- Cooldown decreased to 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 from 7/6.5/6/5.5/5
- Bonus damage now also dealt to minions
Blade’s Reach (W):
- Slow effect changed to 90% decaying from 70%
Lissandra – Buffed
Compensation for the nerf that put her out of Pro games.
Ice Shard (Q):
- Cooldown decreased to 8/7/6/5/4 from 10/8.5/7/5.5/4
Nami – Nerfed
Dampening because of high performance in skilled brackets.
Stats:
- Base HP decreased to 475 from 489.32
- Base mana decreased to 365 from 377.24
Passive – Surging Tides
- MOVEMENT SPEED from 60 to 45
Quinn – Buffed
A buff out of negligence. Not too impact just a nudge.
Blinding Assault (Q):
- Vision radius reduction increased to 1.75 seconds from 1.5 seconds
Trundle – Nerfed
A huge nerf but much needed due to the absolute stomping Trundle was showing in pro games.
Subjugate (R):
- Cooldown increased to 120/100/80 from 100/80/60
Wukong – Nerfed
Base armour decreased. Q damage decreased. W clone damage decreased.
The Wukong’s rework was well utilized and needed to be brought in line
Stats:
- Armour decreased to 31 from 34
Crushing Blow (Q):
- Damage decreased to 20/45/70/95/120 from 30/55/80/105/130
Warrior Trickster (W):
- Clone damage decreased to 35/40/45/50/55% from 40/45/50/55/60%

- AD increased to 55 from 50
Cost:
- Total cost decreased to 3000 from 3100

The Essence Emporium returns from April 30, 2020 to May 13, 2020! Spend your Blue Essence on exclusive icons, chromas, and skins.
For this run, we are rolling out improvements to the popular Mystery Champie Icon Boxes. We kept all the things players love, but there are a few minor changes to the experience:
- To get a full list of icons that can be acquired from each box, please check the item description
- When you purchase a Mystery Champie Icon Box, it will now appear in the Hextech Crafting tab (where your skin shards, Prestige Points, and event tokens live)
- If you receive an icon you already own, you can disenchant it for a FULL refund of the BE cost
BUGFIXES/QOL CHANGES
- Sylas’ ultimate timer for specific champions will no longer show in spectator mode
- Added voice lines from Ascension for Azir, Cassiopeia, Renekton, Sivir, and Xerath
- Aatrox’s taunt lines have been moved to his joke. Three of his old ultimate’s revive lines have been repurposed as his taunt.
- Fixed a Champion Select issue where trades would be cancelled if more than one trade would happen at the same time
- When Neeko takes on her allied Kayn’s appearance with Passive – Inherent Glamour, she will now properly take on the appearance of Shadow Assassin or Rhaast if he has transformed
- Lee Sin’s R – Dragon’s Rage‘s enemy-attached indicator is no longer visible through Fog of War
- Viktor’s Q – Siphon Power-empowered basic attacks are no longer able to destroy wards in two hits
- Lux’s R – Final Spark no longer goes on full cooldown when she dies during its cast
- Kled now properly gains Courage when attacking champions dismounted
- Riven’s Q – Broken Wings will now properly activate Conqueror and give her four stacks of the rune when quickly used twice on the same target
- When Fiora blocks Jhin’s basic attacks with W – Riposte, she will no longer get a fake Caught Out mark on her from Jhin’s PoV
- Lee Sin’s W – Safeguard now properly treats allied clones as champions and shields them properly when he dashes to one
- Sett is no longer interrupted by player-generated terrain (like Jarvan’s R – Cataclysm when casting R – The Show Stopper
- Dark Star Thresh’s lantern is now properly visible after he dies and respawns
- Shaco’s clone no longer gets a burst of movement speed from Nimbus Cloak
- Rift Scuttler’s speed shrine is now properly functional outside of the Death Realm even when Mordekaiser captures the champion that killed it in his R – Realm of Death
- Miss Fortune’s Passive – Love Tap-empowered basic attacks now properly stack Conqueror
- When Warwick casts Q – Jaws of the Beast on a Sion that is about to respawn during his Passive – Glory in Death, he will no longer transport to the real Sion in the enemy fountain
- Caitlyn’s W – Yordle Snap Trap now properly empowers only one basic attack
- Shaco no longer gets a Double Kill and double the intended gold from killing with his clone and by casting E – Two-Shiv Poison in his enemy’s R – Realm of Death
- Damage caused by active items will property proc Dark Harvest
