Smash Ultimate “leak” claims LoL character coming in Fighters Pass Vol 2

Leakers sometimes do want to fool us with fake information or so we thought with this 4Chan leak on January 30. But now when a part of the prediction in the leak has come true, we want to revisit it.

Now the leak was about a League of Legends character claiming to be joining the roster of Smash. The leaks also contained an eventual release of a Hollow Knight Mii Swordfighter and Trials of Mana 3 Spirit Event were being planned.

Things get interesting from here though, preliminary investigation termed the leaks as pure fiction but now the Trails of Mana 3 is officially announced and the other leaks are suddenly making rounds on the internet. Trials of Mana 3 will begin on April 24.

The leaker also asked the readers to confirm the news with their insiders but no other leaker reached out in support yet. According to the leaker, Smash is including a LOL champion because they will be releasing the game on consoles.

The leaker did not specify the champion though but puts his bet on Ahri saying she is the most likely candidate. A well-reputed leaker Vergeben says that he will look into the matter himself.

It is a very weird notion for Riot to allow Nintendo in using their champion. But it is also not unlikely. Riot is also in the development of an LoL fighter game codenamed as ‘Project L’ so giving a patented character seems foolish much more to a rival.

Hopefully, we get more information about the characters in June. You can pre-order the Super Smash Bros Fighter Pass 2 DLC expansion. Here is how Nintendo describes its DLC:

Expand your roster even more with six additional playable fighters, plus additional stages, and music as they release. Purchasers will also receive a bonus Mii Swordfighter outfit: Ancient Soldier Gear.

Each Challenger Pack contains 1 new fighter, 1 new stage, and additional music tracks.

So now we just have to wait for the ARMS fighter to be released. The current global health situation has not stopped the development of Fighters pass 2 scheduled on December 2021.
