Niantic never backs off to surprise the trainers, and this time, they have teased a New Mythical Pokemon which is coming very soon.

The footprints resemble like of Gen 5 Gen Genesect’s feet and it is also a mythical Pokemon.
Niantic has yet to confirm the Pokemon, but if we look at the mysterious event happening on March 20, Normal-, Fire-, Water-, Electric-, and Ice-type Pokémon will appear more than often in the wild and Genesects can fit easily there as it’s Techno Blasts can change its type depends on drive-in it’s grab.
Here is the list of changes Genesect can make in his Techno Blasts while holding different drive:
- When it is not holding any Drive, the light is orange, and Techno Blast is Normal-type.
- When it is holding the Burn Drive, the light turns red, and Techno Blast is Fire-type.
- When it is holding the Douse Drive, the light turns blue, and Techno Blast is Water-type.
- When it is holding the Shock Drive, the light turns yellow, and Techno Blast is Electric-type.
- When it is holding the Chill Drive, the light turns white, and Techno Blast is Ice-type.
Moreover, one to four-star battles throughout the next weekend will include various Bug or Steel Pokemon, and Genesect’s have both types.
Just to iterate, Niantic has yet to reveal the Pokemon, till then take the prediction as a grain of salt.
