AI Limit Save File Location Where is it (2)

AI Limit is the new action-packed, souls-like ARPG that lets you explore and fight through a haunting post-apocalyptic world where humanity’s last hope rests in the hands of Arrisa, an immortal warrior. Like with every souls-like, you can expect fast-paced combat, intricate enemy designs, and all the challenging yet rewarding experiences. But for all its intensity, every player knows the importance of one simple thing—saving progress. Whether you’re tweaking builds, recovering from a tough boss fight, or just ensuring you don’t lose hours of hard-earned progress, knowing where AI Limit stores its save files on your PC is crucial. So, here we are to help you locate your saved files.

Beyond just saving progress, locating AI Limit’s save files can be useful for a variety of reasons. Maybe you want to transfer your progress to a new PC, create a backup before testing a risky new build, or restore lost data after a crash. Whatever the case, knowing where the game stores its saves can save you time and frustration. Therefore, we’ll walk you through the exact file path for AI Limit’s save data, along with tips on how to back it up or troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

In addition to save game files, we’ve also included details on AI Limit’s configuration files. These files store your in-game settings, such as graphics, controls, and key bindings. Whether you want to tweak performance settings manually or back up your preferences, knowing their location can be just as useful.

How to find the saved game files?

  • Open File Explorer by pressing Win + E on your keyboard, clicking the File Explorer icon on your taskbar, or accessing it from the Start Menu.
  • In File Explorer, click on the address bar at the top. Type in: %USERPROFILE% and press Enter. This will take you to your personal user folder (e.g., C:\Users\YourUsername).
  • Inside your user folder, look for a folder named AppData. If you don’t see it, it may be hidden. To show hidden files, click View (in the top menu), then check Hidden items. Open the AppData folder.
  • Open the AppData folder, locate and open the LocalLow folder. Inside LocalLow, look for a folder named SenseGames (the developer of AI Limit). Open the SenseGames folder, then enter the AILIMIT folder.
  • Within the AILIMIT folder, locate the Archive folder. This is where AI Limit stores its save game files.

Config Files location

To locate AI Limit’s configuration files, open the Registry Editor by pressing Win + R, typing regedit, and pressing Enter. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SenseGames\AILIMIT, where you’ll find the game’s settings related to graphics, controls, and other preferences. Be cautious when editing these values, and consider backing them up before making any changes.

To back up your saves, copy the entire Archive folder and paste it somewhere safe, like an external drive or cloud storage. You can transfer saves to another PC by copying this folder to the same directory on the new system. Also, for troubleshooting corrupted saves, you can replace damaged files with a backed-up version.
