Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) All Server/Gateway List & How to Change?

Are you looking to try out different servers in Path of Exile 2? Perhaps you have not been finding matches on your preferred server and now want to check with other regions. But the question is: what are the options when it comes to choosing a server in the game? Also, how can you change between different servers? If these are the questions on your mind, don’t worry, we have got you covered.

Just like with any other multiplayer game, in Path of Exile 2, you can change the in-game server to switch to a different region. This can help improve your connection and make the game run smoother. Picking the optimal server means that you are going to get better load times and less lag. It’s also super handy if you’re having connection issues or want to play with friends in another region. That being said, let’s take a look at the server situation in Path of Exile 2.

Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) All Server/Gateway List & How to Change?

Before we go over how to change servers, let’s quickly look at all the available servers in Path of Exile 2.

Server/Gateway list

Path of Exile 2 currently offers the following servers for players to choose from:

  • Texas
  • Washington
  • California
  • Amsterdam
  • London
  • Frankfurt
  • Milan
  • Singapore
  • Australia
  • Sao Paulo
  • Paris
  • Moscow
  • Auckland
  • Japan

Changing Server/Gateway

Now that you know which servers are available to choose from, here is how you can change servers in Path of Exile 2:

  • Launch the Game: Open Path of Exile 2 and wait for the login screen to appear.
  • Locate Server Options: On the login screen, you will see a dropdown menu or an option to select the server (gateway) in the lower part of the screen.
  • Choose Your Server: Click on the drop-down menu to view the list of available servers. Select a server based on your region for the best connection, such as US East, EU Central, or Asia.
  • Auto Select Gateway: If you’re unsure which server to pick, you can choose the Auto Select Gateway option. This will automatically connect you to the server with the best latency for your internet connection.
  • Confirm and Login: After selecting the server, proceed to log in and start playing with the optimized connection.

When choosing a server, always check the ping (latency) displayed next to each server’s name. Lower numbers mean better performance and smoother gameplay. Pick the server with the lowest ping for the best experience. If you’re unsure, the Auto Select Gateway option is always there to help you make the best choice based on your location.

And that should clear your doubts about the available servers and how to switch between them in Path of Exile 2.
