Remnant 2: How to Name Dog

2023 is blessing the gaming world through the release of spectacular games. Remnant 2 is one of them. Its predecessor built a reputation for the sequel, making many people wait with excitement. Remnant 2 has proved that it was worth the wait, as players are showering it with love. This game is considered to be one of the best Souls-like games in existence. Remnant 2 has a ton of enjoyable content and lots of exciting features. One of them is the selection of Archetypes that enables you to choose a class that has unique abilities. A particular class in the game known as the Handler comes with a dog that accompanies you throughout the entire game. That said, you might be wondering how to name the dog. If so, consider reading until the end for details on this.

Remnant 2 offers a list of class types that the players can switch from time to time. Each class has a handful of unique abilities that might come in handy and make your combat experience much smoother. One of the class types named The Handler has a signature ability that makes a dog accompany the player throughout the entire game. The dog the player gets by choosing the Handler class will help immensely during combat moments. It acts as a distraction and even delivers a reasonable amount of damage to enemies whenever needed. Apart from this, the idea of being accompanied by a canine companion in a twisted world filled with dark realities feels somewhat comforting. Currently, a lot of players are trying to name the dog in Remnant 2. Let us get into the topic and know if it is possible or not.

As of now, Remnant 2 doesn’t allow you to name the dog. It is pretty disappointing, but this is how the game was designed by the developers. Players are not offered any sort of customization options for the dog, as it is only seen as an ability of the Handler archetype. Much focus was not given to customizing the four-legged companion. Well, although the developers didn’t think much of this, players are discussing it on various forums. Some are even requesting that the developers add this feature. This shows how engaged and enthusiastic the fans are with Remnant 2.

Well, as for any information regarding whether they are willing to add this feature or not, we cannot say anything right now. They can do something about satisfying the desire of fans by providing a feature that lets players name the dog. However, the official team hasn’t shown an interest in doing so. That said, unless any official acknowledgment is released, we will have to wait.

Anyway, this is all the information we have about naming the dog in Remnant 2. We hope the content was of use to you. For more reads like this, make sure to follow DigiStatement.
