Redmi A1 is available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Red colours. It is a low-budget device and the features are reviewed to be appropriate to the cost ratio. As of Feb 2020, the software of this device is upgradable to Android 9.
The device is equipped with a single camera at both the end where 12MP is the back camera and 5MP is the selfie shooter. With decent processor and battery back-up for the price range, the model is apt for everyday user.
Will Redmi A1 get Android 10 Update?
If you own a Redmi A1 and wonder when Android 10 update would arrive on your device, this might be sad news for you. Redmi A1 will not receive Android 10 update and this is the official, final verdict.
Also, Redmi A2 Lite that was launched with Android 8 OS will not receive the update either. Seems like the company has decided to not carry this series forward and the final OS update for both the models would be the Android 9 which rolled out last year.
