Diablo 4 Blue Screen Issue Is there any fix yet

Imagine this: you are deep in a dungeon in Diablo 4 that you know has some precious loot at the end. You are focused on making your way to the end, and all of a sudden, you get a blue screen error. It seems like you ran into a bit of a hiccup while playing Diablo 4. After about an hour of gameplay, your PC decided to throw a blue-screen party with the stop code VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL. Now, being the responsible gamer that you are, you took matters into your own hands and ran some system diagnostics yourself. You ran the trusty SFC and memory diagnostic tests, and guess what? Everything came back fine and dandy. So, naturally, your detective skills kicked in, and you started suspecting that the game’s VRAM management might be at the heart of these blue screen shenanigans. So what is the case? And is there even a fix available for this blue screen error in Diablo 4? Keep reading to find out.

Diablo 4 Blue Screen Issue: Is there any fix yet

Diablo 4 Blue Screen Issue Is there any fix yet

As of writing this article, there is no official fix for this issue yet. Furthermore, the developers have not acknowledged it either. But that is not all; there are a few things you can try to solve the issue yourself. So, as we said, the issue might crop up due to improper VRAM management. To drive this point home, let’s talk hardware for a bit. It does not matter if you’re rocking a powerful graphics card boasting 12GB of VRAM. When you fired up the game, you noticed something peculiar. Just sitting on the menu, Diablo 4 was already slurping up 8GB of your precious VRAM. And, to add insult to injury, within a minute of actual gameplay, it had greedily chugged up a whopping 11GB! Yikes! So this may be the reason for the blue screen issue. With that out of the way, let us go over some potential fixes. Again, the emphasis is on the word “potential” as they are not guaranteed to work for everyone.

Update GPU drivers

Well, here’s a suggestion from a Reddit user named Furranky, they proposed a simple yet effective solution: uninstall the current graphics drivers and head straight to the website of your GPU’s manufacturer to download and install the latest drivers available. Sometimes, the simplest fixes can work wonders, right? So, why not give it a try?

Lower In-game settings

Now, keep in mind that blue screen errors can be like that mysterious neighbor who disappears when you try to say hello—it’s hard to pin down the exact cause. But fear not! There’s still hope. You might want to try adjusting some graphics settings within the game itself to get rid of the issue. Lowering the texture quality, shadow resolution, or anti-aliasing could potentially reduce VRAM usage and prevent those pesky blue screens from gatecrashing your gaming sessions.

Disable Overclocking

If you are a gamer that likes to overclock their GPU/CPU for enhanced performance, then this might be the cause behind Diablo 4’s blue screen error. So, consider reverting back to the default CPU/GPU configuration by disabling overclocking and then running the game. The issue should be fixed.

Check for the latest updates

Make sure you’ve got the latest updates installed for Diablo 4. Developers are like magical wizards who constantly brew potions of bug fixes and performance improvements. By having the most up-to-date version of the game, you might just dodge those blue-screen bullets altogether.

Contact Support

If all else fails, don’t hesitate to reach out to the official support channels or community forums for Diablo 4. They’re the gurus when it comes to troubleshooting and might have some secret tricks up their sleeves to fix this issue.

Anyway, we hope that these workarounds are able to help you get rid of the blue screen issue in Diablo 4. For more such guides and updates on the latest gaming trends, make sure to stay tuned to Digistatement.
