Resident Evil 4 Remake: How to Dodge Attacks & Avoid Them?
As you might have already guessed, the game doesn’t feature a dodge button. This means that you will need to get a little creative in order to dodge enemy attacks or completely avoid them. Well, this is not the first time that a dedicated dodge button is not featured in a game. So, how do you not take damage in RE 4 Remake? Well, there are two ways to do this. First, you need to bait the enemy. Yes, you read that right. To do this, take a few steps toward the enemy to provoke it. Then, when you see them reeling back to attack you, step backward quickly or sidestep to dodge the attack.
Now, some enemies will throw their melee weapon at you if you are at a distance. Fortunately, these attacks are slow and give you enough time to sidestep or strafe to dodge the weapon. Now, you need to be careful when sprinting backward to dodge an enemy’s attack. You don’t want to have your back toward another enemy or against the wall. Always make sure that you have an escape route clear if things start to get tight. You should also switch the Quick Turn button’s keybind to Crouch from the Controls menu to not accidentally trigger this feature when sprinting backward. Well, this brings us to the end of the article. Stay tuned to Digi Statement for more such gaming guides.
