Samsung launched the Samsung S9 back in February 2019. The smartphone was initially launched with Android 8 and after then it got the Android 9 update and now the users are waiting for the Android 10 update. Samsung has released a bunch of beta Android 10 updates for the smartphone and recently beta 6 Android 10 update based on One UI 2.0 was rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy S9.
Well, Samsung has released a new roadmap or schedule to update its devices to the latest Android 10 based on One UI 2.0. As per the new roadmap, both the Samsung S9 and S9 Plus will receive an Android 10 update in February.
As per the earlier roadmap, both the phones were listed to get Android 10 is January but till now even the beta version users haven’t received the stable version of Android 10 based on one UI 2.0. The beta testing for Samsung S9 and S9 Plus has been ongoing for about two months now.
Well, considering the new roadmap and Galaxy Note 9 which has already received the latest stable Android 10 update, Samsung S9, and S9 Plus which have identical software and hardware to Note 9, both phones should receive the update soon.
