Signalis First-Person Drift Issue: How to fix it?

There are many awesome games out there that provide the experience by stepping it up a little. Sure we already know and have played games from the second and third-person perspective, but that’s where something else comes in. The first-person perspective. Signalis, although a third-person game, suffers from a Drift issue in the First person mode. Let us see if there is a fix for it, in this article.

As amazing of a game Signalis is, there are some important story moments in the game which feature the first-person perspective. This means that during some missions and puzzles, the camera will automatically switch to a first-person mode. The reason can be anything ranging from needing a closer look at the components for puzzle solving to important scenes that the players should focus on. Needless to say, there are some moments that require this type of camera angle for the best experience. They are a part of the story and the user has no control over this whatsoever. But, many have reported that there is a drifting issue in the game when the camera shifts to a first-person view.

Signalis First-Person Drift Issue: How to fix it?

As per reports, when the first-person mode is active, the in-game camera drifts upwards until players manually use the opposite direction keybind to hold it in position. Their in-game avatars start looking upwards and this hinders the gameplay experience. This is annoying especially if you are trying to plan how to solve a certain puzzle. The fix to it? First, go to your Steam settings and from there, head to the Controller settings menu. There, you will be able to see the controllers connected to your device. If you see extra controllers in the menu, then is an error. One of the players had about 4 controllers connected to their system all named “vJoy”. If you are also seeing this, you may have the same problem.

Now, this is something that may be reproducing the effect of the drifting issue. If you are using Windows 10, go to Settings > Device Manager > Human Interface Device section, and see if there is a “vJoy” Controller available. If there is, all you need to do is uninstall the driver (if it is there) and your camera in the game should work just fine. This is one of the workarounds that has worked perfectly in fixing the drifting issue for most players out there. So make sure to give it a shot. Good luck and we hope you liked this article.
