One is that you have to go to their specific location which is the Starlight Strand region. This may be hard because its teleporter is blocked. So, you need to unblock it. Once you have unblocked it, you are ready to go to the region where you will find your Honey Slimes. Do take note that they are not super easy to find so you have to explore the region to your full capability so you can get one. Now the next thing is to lure them. To do this you must have a Mint Mango ready.
