Monster Hunter Rise is a monster-killing action RPG game. You can kill, hunt and capture large and beastly monsters to progress through the ranks. Whilst doing so, you can obtain various materials. These materials are useful in crafting items and armor that can be used to defeat other monsters. One such rare item that can be used for multiple crafts and items is the subject of this article. This article is going to focus on Monster Hunter Rise: How to get Flame Sac.
The Flame Sac is a rarity 4 item that can be obtained from capturing or killing certain monsters in Monster Hunter Rise. There are different drop rates for different monsters and these drop odds are a best-case scenario. If you employ different methods of farming this item, the odds change as well. If you capture a creature instead of killing it, you risk losing a chance to get this rare item. So it must be done tactfully and ideally to obtain the best odds of getting the Flame Sac drop.
Monster Hunter Rise: How to get Flame Sac?
There are 4 monsters that have a chance of dropping this item. These 4 monsters are;
- Aknosom
- Basarios
- Rathalos
- Rathian
Of these 4 monsters, the Aknosom have the highest chance of dropping the Flame Sac. Odds of getting it drops off significantly for the other monsters. The best bet is to farm the Aknosom and hope that it drops the Flame Sac. As of the current update, it has a 24% chance of dropping it when killed, 20% when captured and 21% when you carve the monster. It is also important to note that the chances are 0% on broken parts. This is because trying to farm them in turf wars was a strategy many people employed. It was later found that there would be no flame sac drops from the broken parts of this monster.
The Flame Sac is an important tool because it can be used to craft some of the better armor and weapons in the game. Since it is a rarity 4 item, it can be used in a wide variety of crafts. You can also farm them by fighting the Rathalos. This can be done when you want to craft the Rathalos set armor since it needs other monster parts in addition to the Flame Sac. The same can be said for the Basarios when you want to craft the Basarios set armor since that too will need parts from the monster in addition to the flame sac.
