Pokemon Go is a mobile pokemon game that revolves around you, the player, travelling in the real world to find and catch pokemon which are at different locations. Once you catch and train these pokemon, you can use them in battles and other challenges to get rewards and bonuses in-game. Of these pokemon, there are some that are highly sought after and there are frequent updates introducing pokemon from all the various generations of the pokemon games. The Pokemon Company releases a new generation of pokemon games every 3-4 years and these generational updates introduce various changes to the pokemon games such as new regions and new pokemon. The previous generation of Pokemon games were the Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield versions which were released in 2019. That was the 8th generation of pokemon titles being released and since then, a new generation in the form of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet has been announced and teased. The new generation will be the 9th generation of Pokemon and will launch on the Nintendo Switch on 18th November this year. In addition to this, they will be featuring 3 new starting pokemon, one from 3 elemental types; fire, water, and nature (grass as Pokemon terms it).
Pokemon Go Fuecoco Release Date: When it will be available
Fuecoco is the fire-type starter for the upcoming generation of pokemon games and will be available in both versions, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. Fuecoco is shown to resemble a crocodile and is said to have a laid-back attitude and a voracious appetite. It will be released with the new pokemon generation on 18th November 2022 on Nintendo Switch. Since Pokemon Go adapts pokemon from the generational releases of the games, the developers will be waiting for the launch of the upcoming version to begin working on the new pokemon to introduce it to Pokemon Go. The developers of Pokemon Go have been following a 6-7 month interval between the launch of a pokemon game and the first wave of new pokemon being introduced into Pokemon Go. This is likely because they would like to keep the players engaged for longer and allow them to master the attacks and abilities of new pokemon before introducing newer ones.
Fuecoco is a starter pokemon and hence will probably be one of the first to make it to Pokemon Go with new updates. That being said, since the game is not yet launched and the developers usually take months before releasing new generation pokemon to Pokemon Go, the closest estimate of Fuecoco coming to Pokemon Go will be in August 2023 and a more realistic expectation will be that Fuecoco will make an appearance in September-October of 2023 in Pokemon Go.
