ATS: How to sleep at garage

Developer SCS Software took Euro Truck Simulator 2 and improved upon them in addition to adding some of the most recognizable landmarks in the United States to make the game that is American Truck Simulator. American Truck Simulator as the name suggests is a simulation game where you are set to discover and drive various American trucks in an effort to deliver cargo across some of the American States such as California and Nevada. In order to deliver the cargo, you must overcome the various challenges faced on a day-to-day basis by the drivers of these big rigs such as sand, fuel, and rest. In this article, we are going to take a look at ATS: How to sleep in a garage.

ATS: How to sleep at garage

American Truck Simulator gives tired and weary drivers the option to crash at the various garages in the game. Since energy and tiredness is a measurable criterion in the game that affects how and how much you can drive your truck, it is essential for the driver to sleep and recover lost energy before they can embark or continue on their long journies. In order to do this, you can crash at any of the places the game allows you to crash at, some of them being a garage where you can park your trailer and truck.

ATS: How to sleep at garage?

While not explicitly mentioned in the tutorial, the game allows players entering the garage in certain conditions the prompt to take a nap there. If you are not able to take a nap at a garage, it is likely because you entered in the wrong direction or are still hauling cargo into the garage which is usually not accepted by the game. According to the Steam community support page for the game, if you enter a garage from the roadside and are not hauling cargo, it should offer you the prompt to sleep. If you are still hauling cargo, then players have found that unloading the cargo nearby or at the designated spot and then entering the garage from the roadside offers them the prompt to sleep in the garage.

If despite entering from the road and without any cargo you are unable to sleep at a garage, a report to the developers will make sure they look into it and possibly fix it to make the game easier to play and enjoy for the players.
