The Voice Chat feature is an essential feature when it comes to multiplayer games. Rust is one of the most loved sandbox games in the world. It was available in Early Access back in 2013 but was officially launched in 2018. Currently, this game is available to play on almost every popular video game platform including PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Linux, and macOS. Coming back to the main topic, here is everything you need to know about muting, disabling, or turning off the Voice Chat feature in the Rust game on PS4, PS5, or Xbox.

Rust Game: Disable Voice Chat on PS4, PS5, or Xbox

By muting, disabling, or turning off Voice Chat, you will not be able to hear anyone in the game and they also will not be able to hear anything from you. Muting or disabling the mic in the Rust Game is quite an easy process. Just follow these steps:

  1. While being in the game, open the pause menu by pressing the Options button on your controller.
  2. Then, select Options and then head over to the Game section.
  3. Here, you must find the Communication category and in that, you will be able to see the Voice Chat option.
  4. To disable the voice chat, set the Voice Chat feature to None.
