COD Mobile high FPS and fix lag
Fixing the lag and getting the high FPS in COD Mobile is quite an easy process. Just follow the steps mentioned below to get the maximum FPS while playing COD Mobile. The results might not be the same for everyone as each mobile device is different in some way or the other.
- Firstly, we will be changing some in-game settings. For that, launch the game and go to the Audio and Graphics Settings tab in the settings option. After that, apply the following settings in the Graphics Category:
- Graphic Quality: Set it to Low/ Medium.
- Frame Rate: Max. If this option is not available for your device, set this option as High/Very High
- BR Mode Graphic Style: Set it according to your preference. It has no impact on FPS
- In the Battle Royale section, disable Depth of Field, Real-Time Shadows, Water Reflection, Ragdoll, Anti-Aliasing, Bloom, and Godray. Only enable Realistic Scope in this section to boost FPS.
- In the Multiplayer section, disable Depth of Field, Real-Time Shadows, Anti-Aliasing, Bloom, and Ragdoll. Only enable Realistic Scope.
- In the Zombies section, disable Depth of Field, Real-Time Shadows, Water Reflection, Ragdoll, Anti-Aliasing, Bloom, and Godray. Only enable Realistic Scope.
- Finally, tap on Start Shader Preload at the bottom to reduce lag.
- Once you have applied these settings in your game, make sure that no other apps are running in the background. Some heavy apps running in the background can sometimes overheat your device and can lead to lag.
- Now, you must make sure that you have updated your mobile software to the latest version. Sometimes, new software updates optimize your device’s performance. For that, go to settings and search for the Software Update option.
- If you are still facing low FPS and lag, ensure that you have enough storage space left in your mobile device. If you are not having some free space, then delete some applications or files.
- Turn off Background App Refresh and Automatic updates on your mobile device to ensure that no other application uses your Network connection.
- If nothing helped you out, you can try restarting your device and try playing the game.
