How to use text chat in Minecraft on PS4, Xbox & PC

Minecraft Text Chat: How to use it?

Using the Text Chat feature is very easy in Minecraft, regardless of whether you are playing it on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation. Here are the steps that you must follow to use it:

Minecraft

  1. The Text Chat feature is an inbuilt feature of Minecraft. So, to access it you just have to open the Chats and Commands menu. To open it on PC, you must press the forward slash key (/), to open it on PS4 or Xbox, you must press the right D-pad button on the controller.
  2. In the typing space, type the message that you want to send to everyone in your world.
  3. After typing the message, Hit R2 on your controller/Enter button on your keyboard and the message will be sent.

You can also customize the chat settings by selecting the settings icon from the Chats and Commands menu. So, if you like to see a particular color, font, etc. you can set it according to your preferences. So, this was everything about the Text Chat in Minecraft.
