The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the recently launched sequel to Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and it has done a tremendous job of capturing the emotions of the long-running Zelda franchise. ToTK is a new game with new adventures altogether, but it does address its prequel and even lets the players take a walk down memory lane by drawing elements from BoTW. In fact, ToTK includes most of Link’s significant mementos and armor from BoTW, which includes Link’s Champion’s Tunic. If you are familiar with BoTW, then we are guessing that you remember the iconic Champion’s Tunic from the game. Link was given a blue tunic, which replaced the trademark green tunic he always donned, and it took the fans by storm. Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has successfully captured the same emotion by introducing the blue tunic back in this game. Fans can now get the Champion’s Tunic in the new game by completing a few easy steps. But before you go on a quest to get the tunic, you need to know where you can find it first.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: How to Get the Champion’s Tunic?
Thankfully, this part is easy. All you need to do is get to Hateno village and find Link’s old house. Behind this house, you will find Zelda’s Secret Well (coordinates: 3301, -2298, 0130). Once you climb down the well, you will get access to Zelda’s diary, where you can find the exact location of where the Champion’s Tunic is hidden. And this is also where the quest “A New Champion’s Tunic” starts.
After you interact with Zelda’s diary, you will find out that the Champion’s Tunic is actually hidden in the throne room of Hyrule Castle. Now, in order to travel to the castle efficiently, you can simply use the paraglider from the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, if you have it unlocked. Remember that to accomplish this task, you will need sufficient stamina upgrades.
Once you land at the castle near the Sanctum (Coordinates: 0254, 1020, 0339), head to the Throne room at the center of the castle. After reaching, you will notice two braziers on either side of a giant bird statue. Now, all you have left to do is light the braziers using flint or by throwing a fire fruit. Once you’ve fired up both the braziers, the throne will slide over, revealing a secret chamber underneath it. You can walk up to that chamber to find the treasure chest hidden in it. In this treasure chest, you will find the Champion’s Leathers garment. And simply by equipping this, you can finally retrieve the iconic tunic that created a sensation in BoTW.
