Hyrule Castle

One of the first places players should look for diamonds is beneath Hyrule Castle. You will find a Royal Hidden Passage Cave under the castle, which you can access by using your Ultrahand ability. Start at the First Gatehouse below the castle and walk straight on the path until you spot a balcony below. Glide down to the balcony and enter the room. Now use your Ultrahand ability on the floor grate. When you open the passage and drop down, you will find a treasure chest on a platform. This is where you will get your first diamond.

Mine Ore Deposits

Players can start by mining ore deposits in their search for diamonds. Though this is a time-consuming process, it guarantees you will find some rare gems, especially diamonds. Goron Caves, near Death Mountain, is a great place to find many ore deposits. Make sure to check the ore deposits that have yellow sparkles; these are certain to store rare gems, including diamonds.

Shrines

Shrines are one of the best places to look for diamonds, although not all shrines have them. There are some handpicked shrines that offer rare gems, such as the Jochi-ihiga Shrine in the Akkala Highlands, Maoikes Shrine in the Lanayru Wetlands, Sihajog Shrine in the Lanayru Great Spring Sky, Yomizuk Shrine in the Lanayru Great Spring, and Mayaotaki Shrine in the Hebra Mountains. So, visit them and open the chests for a chance to receive diamonds.

Vendors

You can always buy diamonds if you don’t want to explore the world of Hyrule in search of them. They will cost 1,000 rupees each. Some particular shops that sell diamonds are as follows:

  • Beedle’s Shop Ship
  • Gerudo Secret Club
