How to find and get Dinraal’s Claw in ToTK

After a long wait, Nintendo’s much-anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released on May 12. This is the sequel to a fan-favorite game in the Zelda series: Zelda Breath of the Wild. And just like BoTW, ToTK consists of multiple exciting quests that the players can complete. One such quest is where you have to find and get Dinraal’s claw. If you’re familiar with BoTW, then you should already be aware of this item. It is one of the collectible elements in the sequel that is drawn from BoTW. In this article, we will guide you on how to find and get Dinraal’s Claw in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, so continue reading till the end.

Dinraal’s Claw is a collectible item in ToTK that you need to get from the dragon Dinraal. While the item still exists in ToTK, the use of Dinraal’s Claw has diminished. This item can be sold or even used for cooking, but you can’t use it to upgrade your armor anymore. You do get, however, some attack power boost if you fuse the claw to your weapons. Nevertheless, it is still a great collectible, and you can offer it to the Goddess Statue of Power as well when you’re on that quest.

How to Get Dinraal’s Claw in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

How to Find and Get Dinraal’s Claw in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Getting Dinraal’s claw isn’t quite a difficult task. Dinraal is a fire dragon in the game that emerges from the depths of the Akkala Highlands Chasm. If you’re lucky, you’ll find this monstrous beast flying over the skies of the Eldin Mountains Region. The dragon covers a long route during his flight, so your best bet to find it is to keep an eye on the northeastern region of Hyrule. You can use a Skyview Tower around Eldin or the Akkala Highlands region to glide and search for this monster. Or you can even wait for it on the North Hyrule Sky Archipelago and dive down when Dinraal eventually appears. Once you notice the monster, you can glide toward it using your paraglider.

Now, notably at this point, you need to take care of your heat resistance because Dinraal is a fire dragon with an intense heat wave surrounding it. You need to consume enough heat-resistant dishes so that your health doesn’t drop too much while you’re trying to get the claw. Now, as soon as you notice Dinraal, you will want to take out your bow and shoot an arrow at its claw. This will make the claw drop from his paw, and you will need to chase it now. The claw will shine while it’s falling, allowing you to understand the actual location where it’s falling. You can catch it while you’re airborne, or you could simply wait until it drops to the ground. However, irrespective of how you take it, this will mean that you have collected the Dinraal’s claw in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Just like Dinraal’s Claw, there are multiple other items, shields, and weapons that you can collect in the game. Stay tuned with DigiStatement to find out about anything and everything regarding Tears of the Kingdom.
