Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (ToTK) Frostbite Armor Set Location: Where is it
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has many old as well as newer items for players to add to their inventory. Some items are carried over from the prequel, while others were recently added to keep the game fresh and interesting. The most fun part of the game’s entire premise, except exploring, is collecting new items. The game has a wide range of newly added armor sets, including the Frostbite Armor set. This armor is exciting in itself as it gives Link the Cold Weather Charge set bonus.
The Frostbite Armor set consists of three pieces in total: the Frostbite Headdress, Frostbite Shirt, and Frostbite Trousers. Like every armor set in the game, the Frostbite Armor set is also scattered in various places across the map, which can make it challenging for the players to locate all three pieces and complete the set. However, after reading this guide, you will know where to look.
Frostbite Shirt
The Frostbite Shirt makes up the armor of the set and can be found in the Brightcap Cave. If you’re in Central Hyrule, this place will fall to the northwest. To locate the caves precisely, head towards the northeast of the Tabantha Frontier with the coordinates -2996, 1660, and 0199. Once you reach inside, you must glide down the cliff-like fall inside the cave. Enter another entrance you see as you land, and you will be greeted by a Horriblin, which you have to defeat.
Don’t rest just yet; there’s another enemy you need to fight. Upon defeating the Horriblin, you’ll have to fight the Like Like. Aim for the glowing lump and inflict damage on it repeatedly, which will eventually kill it. After defeating the Like Like, walk towards a wide opening.
This area will have thorny vines on the top, which you will need to burn using your arrow fused with a fire fruit and climb up to the high ground. After reaching the high ground, you must fight the Bubbul Frog to obtain the Bubbul Gem; however, this is optional. Jump down after collecting the gem, and towards your right, you’ll see a shrine-like place with a chest in the middle. This place, however, is blocked by thorny vines. You can use your arrow fused with the fire fruit again to set them on fire. Once they disappear, head towards the chest and collect your Frostbite Shirt!
Frostbite Trousers
You will find the Frostbite Trousers in the Hebra Headspring Cave. Head toward the northwest of Central Hyrule to the Hebra Mountains. You’ll see the cave located to the southeast of the mountains at the coordinates -2886, 2501, and 0392.
Once you enter the cave, head in the opposite direction of the water flowing alongside the stream. Stick to the path on your left side until you find two big raised platforms in the middle. As you climb the first platform, you’ll see two white glowing birds. You can shoot at them with your bow and arrows, which will kill them in one shot. Now, jump on top of the second platform and head towards the opening on your left. Climb up the wall onto another raised platform to your left.
Here you’ll be greeted by the Bubbul Frog; defeat it to collect the Bubbul Gem. Exit this room and go back to the top of the second platform where you came from. Now, head straight towards the wall you see in front and climb the wall into another cave entrance. Here, you will see a shrine-like place with a chest in the middle. Open the chest and collect your Frostbite Trousers!
Frostbite Headdress
You will find the last piece of the set near the location of the Frostbite Trousers. The Frostbite Headdress is located in the Lake Kilsie Cave, near the Sturnida Basin and Hebra Mountains. The coordinates of the place are -3918, 2842, and -0016.
As soon as you enter the cave, you’ll see a Horriblin guarding the entrance. Defeat the Horriblin, and then drop down and head towards the wind tunnel; it will elevate you to another opening to your left. Here again, you will need to defeat the Bubbul Frog. After defeating it, walk straight towards the ice crystals and drop down into the wind tunnel. You will see another cave entrance blocked by some crystallized ice. Now, use your arrow fused with the bomb flower to destroy the blockage. Upon entering the opening, you will a shrine-like place with a chest in the middle. Open the chest to collect your Frostbite Headdress!
These are the locations where you will find the pieces to complete your Frostbite Armor set in Tears of the Kingdom.
