Tears of the Kingdom once again proves that Nintendo makes quality games. Released on May 12th, it was a long, hard six-year wait, but in the end, it was more than worth it. The game is already a hit with critics, and now even players can’t get enough of it. There’s so much to see and explore in Tears of the Kingdom that players are getting overwhelmed. These players are taking more than two to three hours to complete the tutorial area itself, just because the scale of the game is so massive. Lots of features and stuff from Breath of the Wild make a return in this game. One among them being armor sets. And as such, many in the community have been asking about the whereabouts of the Fierce Deity Armor set.

Armors in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom function the same as they did in Breath of the Wild. You get three pieces: a headpiece, a chest piece, and a leg piece. When worn individually with a piece of another set, those pieces will still give you a bonus/buff. So, what exactly is the Fierce Deity Armor Set good for? And where do you get all the pieces? Let’s find out!!

The Fierce Deity Armor Set used to have an Amiibo requirement in Breath of the Wild, but in Tears of the Kingdom, it can be acquired easily without any Amiibo. Each piece gives “Attack Up” as passive and when worn together, will give another “Attack Up” bonus. Moreover, once you upgrade it to the max, it will also provide a “Charge Attack Stamina Up” effect to Link. This basically allows the Hero of Hyrule to take less stamina to perform a charge attack. All three pieces have a base defense stat of 3, which can be further increased up to 20 by upgrading them through the Great Fairy Fountains.

Note: You can still get the set using Majora’s Mask Amiibo.

First, you need to start Misko’s Cave of Chest side quest by going to these coordinates – (2605, 1309, 0150). The location is near Foothill Stable Well. At that particular location, you will find two Hylians near a cave entrance and a dog nearby a makeshift tent. Approach the two Hylians and engage in a conversation with them to start the quest. Next, feed the dog enough food until he gets happy and starts to walk toward the cave entrance. Follow him into the Cephla Lake Cave and wait for him to sniff a buried treasure chest. Use your Ultrahand ability to dig out the chest.

Don’t get excited. It’s just an Ember Trouser. Not related to the set that you want. However, after getting the contents of the newly recovered chest, the two Hylians will approach you and point out a bottle with a letter inside it. The Hylians will leave after that, marking the first phase of the quest as complete. Now, read the letter to start another quest – Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity.

Fierce Deity Boots

Go to the coordinates – (-1108, -0437, 0064) located at Ancient Tree Slump. Jump inside the empty tree stump to discover the Ancient Tree Stump Cave. At the bottom, search for an open path blocked by vines. Once found, cut them down and enter. There, you will see another tree. Climb up until you find an opening. Next, you will find yet another path blocked by vines. Cut them down and open the chest inside. Congratulations!! You have got Fierce Deity Boots.

Fierce Deity Mask

The next part of the set is located in the Deep Akkala region at the coordinates – (3401, 3566, 0227). A more easy landmark is the famous Skull Lake. Paraglide towards the tall cylindrical rock tower-like architecture/formation. Now jump inside to discover Skull Lake Cave. Keep walking inside the newly discovered cave until you encounter a rock wall. Blow it up or destroy the wall. Next, you will find yourself in a new room filled with undead monsters and a big climbable structure in the center. Defeat the enemies or ignore them and climb up to collect the next chest. Now, you have got the Fierce Deity Mask.

Fierce Deity Armor

The last piece can be found in Akkala Citadel Ruins at coordinates – (-3291, 1491, 0414). Jump inside the gap found in the ruins to discover Akkala Citadel Ruins Summit Cave. You don’t need to do anything this time since the chest will be directly located below. Open it to receive the Fierce Deity Armor.

Bonus Tip:

Once you have collected all three pieces, you will also be able to get a Fierce Deity Sword that has an attack power of 38. To get the sword, head back to the starting place of Misko’s Cave of Chest Side Quest, i.e., Cephla Lake Cave. At the end of the cave, you will see a room with a chest inside. Hurry there, open the chest, and get your own Fierce Deity Sword.

One of the best things about this sword is that even after it breaks, you can get a new one by purchasing it. Just go to Lookout Landing and interact with the Poe Statue there(Bargaining Statue). It will offer you the location of other statues for a set amount of poes. Or you can just head to the coordinates – (0457, -0802, -0473) to find the Poe Statue that offers the sword. Be sure to have a considerable amount of poes, if you are planning to rebuy the Fierce Deity Sword.

Besides being one of the coolest-looking armor sets in the game, it’s also pretty useful since it significantly increases your attack power. For more guides and info on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, follow DigiStatement.
