Wild Hearts Not Launching, Crashing, Stuttering & Freezing Issue On PC: How to fix it?
Although the devs rolled out a hotfix patch to fix a lot of issues, some players are still struggling to run the game on their PC. Well, there are a couple of workaround and troubleshooting tips that might help you with these issues. We have mentioned all of them below for you.
1) Reboot your PC-
First and foremost, you should reboot your PC when you face these types of issues. A bad system boot can trigger various problems when playing video games.
2) Update your GPU drivers-
Next, make sure that your GPU drivers are up to date. This is very important because your GPU is responsible for rendering most of the things in the games. So, visit NVIDIA’s or AMD’s website and download the latest version of your GPU drivers.
3) Lower the in-game settings-
If you didn’t already know, Wild Hearts is a resource-intensive game. So, you will need a good PC to run the game smoothly. If your PC doesn’t meet the game’s system requirements, it might be the reason why you are experiencing crashes and stuttering along with a bunch of other issues. So, we recommend lowering the graphics settings in the game to get a lag-free experience.
4) Repair the game files and Clear Cache in EA App-
You can do this through both Steam and the EA Play application. To do this through Steam, launch the Steam Client and head over to Library. Now, right-click Wild Hearts and select Properties. Next, go to the Local Files tab and click on the Verify integrity of the game files option. For the EA app, click on the three-dots option present beside the game, and select the Repair Option.
Now, to clear cache in the EA app, follow these steps-
- Launch the EA Application.
- After this, click on the Help option.
- Now, select App recovery.
- Then, select Clear Cache.
5) Don’t run the game with administrative privilege-
While this might sound weird, some players have been able to launch and play the game after removing the administrative privileges. To do this, search for the Wild Heart’s executable file in \steamapps\common\WILD HEARTS\00_game\target_origin folder. Then, right-click the file and select Properties. Head over to the Compatibility tab and make sure to uncheck the “Run as administrator” option. Save the setting and then run the game.
6) Update the game-
As we mentioned before, the devs started to roll out hotfix patches to bring several fixes. So, make sure to download and install any new update that drops.
7) Reinstall-
One user seems to have found a workaround that fixed these issues. But to do this, you will first need to uninstall Steam, EA App, and Wild Hearts from your PC. Make sure to delete any empty folders related to these applications as well. Now, create a new administrative profile on your PC. Make sure to use a different email id to create this account. Once you do this, install Steam and then Wild Hearts. The game will then ask you to install EA Play as well. Install all the applications and then try launching the game. This should fix the issue.
So, these were some methods to fix the Wild Hearts Not Launching, Crashing, Stuttering & Freezing issues on PC. We will make sure to update our article once the devs roll out a proper hotfix patch to resolve these problems. So, make sure to stay tuned to Digi Statement.
