V Rising gives you the freedom to explore over a very vast map, and there are times when going from Point A to Point B can get very boring. These Vampire sanctuary-type things are called Sanctuary Waygates. They serve as fast travel destinations and hubs. They can be used to fast travel between each other.
- It is important to note that you can’t fast-travel with your entire inventory, you can only fast-travel with your gear which consists of all your weapons and tools, so before you fast travel make sure that you’re traveling light.

Now, the game doesn’t let you bring any materials back to your base but it does make it very easy to get to the spot where you’re going to farm materials.
