Trepang2 Toggle Sprint How to enable

If you did not know, Trepang2 is a high-octane first-person shooter developed by Trepang Studios. Set in a world of heavily militarized private corporations engaged in secret wars for power and influence, the game puts you in the role of 106, an experimental super soldier who has been liberated from Horizon Corporation’s black site lab by a rival secret military force. It was released recently on June 21, but if you’ve been following it for some time, you’ve probably played through the demo already. Anyway, after the full release, Trepang2 has been garnering overwhelmingly positive reviews. But since the game is new, some players are having trouble with the sprint mechanic in the game. Well, we have all the details that you need to know, so consider reading till the end.

So, what do we mean by toggle sprint? Well, toggle sprint is a feature that allows players to switch between walking and sprinting modes with a single button press. This mechanic is quite basic and is featured in numerous games because it offers convenience and improved control for players during intense action sequences or when traversing huge environments. By toggling Sprint on or off, players can conserve their character’s stamina. But as we mentioned earlier, players are having trouble enabling this toggle sprint feature in Trepang2. If you are reading this guide, chances are that you are struggling with the same thing.

Trepang2 Toggle Sprint: How to enable

Trepang2 Toggle Sprint How to enable

Here is the bad news: you are not able to use the toggle sprint feature in Trepang2 because this mechanic is simply not present in the game right now. Yes, you heard that right. As of writing this article, there is no way to toggle sprint in the game. But don’t get discouraged yet! The absence of such a necessary feature led to some players taking to the official discussion forum on Steam to discuss the matter. Luckily, this caught some “Steam”, (no pun intended) and also the attention of the devs. And what did the developers have to say?

Well, to begin with, one of the developers acknowledged the absence of this feature and also assured the players that it will be added in a future update or patch. When exactly? That was not mentioned, and we have no information on it either. So, if you had been trying to enable toggle sprint only to fail, you now know why. All that is left to do is wait for the developers to add this feature to the game as soon as possible.

As peculiar as it may sound, this seems to have been happening with Trepang2 for quite some time. Before the game’s official release, players were complaining about the aiming down sight feature. Most were annoyed by the fact that ADS was a privilege in the New Game Plus mode only. Now, it remains to be seen when the developers release a patch that hopefully implements the toggle sprint feature in the game. We will update this article with more information once we fetch it. Anyway, we hope all your doubts have been cleared by now. For more reads like this, make sure to stay tuned to Digistatement.
