Trackmania 2020 has improved a lot when compared to its predecessor. The game has a lot of interesting features, and one of them is the Text-To-Speech (TTS) feature. Enabling TTS features a weird/robotic voice in-game that talks to you throughout your entire gameplay while navigating through the menu or reading text messages. Some fans find this feature entertaining, while others consider it an annoying factor that ruins their gameplay experience. Well, if you are wondering how to turn on/off the Text to Speech feature in Trackmania, consider reading this guide till the end.

Trackmania games combine creativity with a pure racing experience, which has been the primary factor resulting in their popularity. Fans have a great time playing these games, as they offer a ton of features to help them design fun-filled and creative tracks. Players can choose to design tracks according to their own racing styles. You can either design a normal racing track or the craziest of tracks to wreak havoc in-game. The Text-to-Speech feature in Trackmania was designed to help and guide fans during their playthrough, but it is considered an element that spoils the entire experience. Players can easily get annoyed by the voice talking to them during intense racing moments. Thankfully, the option can easily be toggled on/off by following the steps below:

  • First, you have to locate the Settings option present in-game. This can usually be found on the entry screen of the game as well as in the Pause menu. You can press the Options button on your controller to access the Pause menu.
  • Now, select Options from the list, and you will be taken to the Settings menu of the game, where a number of tabs ranging from Profile to System can be found. Among them, proceed to choose the tab named ‘Sound’.
  • After selecting the Sound tab, scroll down until you see an option named Text To Speech under the Voice Chat & Text To Speech subheading. From there, you can either activate or deactivate the TTS feature in-game.

These are the steps involved in turning on/off the Text To Speech feature in Trackmania. We hope this guide was able to provide you with all the information you needed. For more reads like this, make sure to follow DigiStatement.
