Tower Defence Simulator is a Roblox game that is quite popular. The aim is to protect the team’s tower and also capturing the enemy’s. It is a very good team game and is fun to play. However, a PvP mode was also introduced to revamp the excitement. We will discuss what happened to the PVP mode and why it was taken down.
The PVP mode was added around the same time as the Area 51 event. In this mode, there were two elevators. When one player stood on each of the elevators, the match would begin. At that time, only two maps were available for PVP. Those were Candy Valley and Castle Outskirts. You should also check out the Skincrate Code.
Why was PVP taken down ?
Even though players had to use their skills and wit to claim victory, it was not popular. When the mode was in the game, nobody played it. The highest wins a player on the top leader board had was only about 400 hundred. The reason was slow-paced gameplay and no bonus awards for winning it.
The twist to this mode was the summoning of additional enemies. You could summon other enemies on top of the regular spawned enemies. The only limitation was that the enemies have to first appear in the match. Only then you can summon them. The downfall of this feature is that players could summon the Gravekeeper who is a major boss in the game. This feature was restricted until wave 10 to ensure that no one could end the game early.
There were several negative points after the MEGA update. The elevators were reduced from 4 to 2 but the max players for the mode were increased to 12 from 8. Also, the game would start if uneven players were present on the elevator. In some cases, it was 4v1 which is unfair. Also, the game would end if all players of a team left the game or the alt-left. It was not possible to farm coins.
The unpopularity of the mode and the stale gameplay was the reason why it was removed after the Winter lobby. Now, you cannot play the PVP mode in Tower Defence Simulator. You should also know more about the Summer Update.
