The Riftbreaker

The Riftbreaker is a new strategic base-building survival game with hack & slash action RPG elements. Likewise, it is a massive space exploration game where players have to expand colonization. The game comes from the developer studio, EXOR Studios. Under the hood, the game uses the Schmetterling 2.0 engine from the studio.

Players take on the role of Ashley S. Nowak a.k.a the Riftbreaker, an elite scientist/commando enhanced with powerful Mecha-Suit. Likewise, the Mecha-Suit gives players powerful enhancements and also perks allowing players to perform difficult tasks. Consequently, the Mecha-suit is one of the core gameplay elements of the game. Players can carry out missions by entering a one-way portal to the distant planet Galatea 37. Thus, the suit allows players to survive such harsh space travel.

Therefore, players progress through the story by visiting distant planets and expanding their colonies. Combat & strategic management of bases are also a major part of the core gameplay. Thus, the progression system and story are all seamlessly integrated with the RPG mechanics of the game.
