The Front Game: How to change in-game Language?

The Front is the newest entry to the list of games featured under Steam’s Early Access program. Released by Samar Studio, it’s their debut title. The game has been scheduled to remain in early access for about 12 months. However, that time frame can always be extended if the developers decide to do so. As the early access suggests, the game is in its early stages and, as such, is in need of a lot of polishing. However, many are already enjoying the game, so we have decided to help players like you and others learn whatever there’s to know about it. This guide in particular will help you learn how to change the in-game language.

Nowadays, it’s really hard to find a game that doesn’t come with support for at least two or more languages. Even the indie developers have upped their game when it comes to language support. The same goes for The Front too. But how do you change the in-game language? Well, let’s find out!

The Front Game: How to change in-game Language?

It’s fairly easy to change in-game language in The Front. All you need to do is go to Main Menu > Custom Settings and switch to the Language tab. On the right side of the screen, you will see the Select Language option. Now, all you have to do is choose whichever language you want and select it from the drop-down menu. That’s all, really. Easy right!!

As for how many languages are available in the game right now, it’s twelve. Now, one thing you need to keep in mind is that all available languages are limited to Interface and Subtitles. There are no voice packs for any language, including English. You can take a look at the following list to know what languages you are allowed to choose:

  • English
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Korean
  • Spanish – [Latin America]
  • Polish
  • Italian
  • Portuguese – Brazil
  • Japanese
  • Russian
  • German
  • French

Being developed by an indie studio, the game having no voice packs was about to be expected. But will Samar Studio have voice acting in the future? Well, we don’t really know. Lots of indie games prefer to allocate their resources to other areas than using them for not-so-impactful features. Also, since this is primarily a PvP-based survival game with no story elements, we don’t think that voice support holds significant value.

Well, how helpful was this guide? Now that one problem has been taken care of, it’s time to deal with another one. Yes, we are indeed talking about the blur issue that’s currently plaguing the game. Have a look at this guide, and get rid of this issue ASAP. And don’t forget to bookmark DigiStatement for more guides like this. Also, read: The Front Game: How to get More Followers
