The First Descendant How to play with friends & invite them

Playing with friends in “The First Descendant” is quick and easy once you know how. So, here’s a detailed guide on how to invite friends and form parties across different platforms!

How to play and invite friends?

You will have to start by opening the Social menu in the game, depending on your platform. This tab can be found next to the map tab. Just follow the steps given below!

  • The method to open the social menu varies. For PlayStation, press the touchpad on the controller. For PC, you will have to press the M key, and on Xbox, press the View button on your controller. This will open up the map and on the right side, you will see the Social Menu’s tab. Click on it.
  • Once in the Social menu, look at the top of the local players’ section to find your character name. Your character name will include a unique identifier, which is crucial for cross-platform play. This identifier is in the format Name#1234.
  • Share your unique identifier with your friend(s). This allows them to search for you within the game.
  • Now if you have your friend’s ID, go to the Player Search option in the Social menu, and enter your friend’s full name including the hashtag and number.
  • With the correct ID, you will be able to find your friend. After that, select their name and send a friend request.
  • Once your friend accepts the request, they will appear in your in-game friends list.
  • With your friends now on your friends list, you can invite them to your party directly from the social menu.
Click on their name, select it, and choose the “Invite to Party” option.

Well, this is how you can play with friends and invite them to The First Descendant. We hope this guide was helpful.
