Elder Scrolls has a good legacy in the gaming world placing 15 at highest selling games ever for Skyrim. This, however, is the exact reason why the fan base is looking forward to the next game that will be Elder Scrolls 6. Well, I hate to disappoint you but it’s not coming anytime soon.
Though the game was officially announced at E3 2018 with a teaser trailer, there seems a long wait for it to actually arrive. Bethesda has confirmed that their eyes are set for a successful launch of Starfield first. Starfield itself doesn’t have an official release date and rumours place it to be Late 2021 or Early 2022 release. This information puts Elder Scrolls even further down the track and on the E3 2019 Tedd Howard’s chastised the community of its impatience.
I think before we pin down the date for TES6 release, we should at least wait for Starfield to come out.
Development Rumour and Speculation
All that is said after this point should be taken with a grain of salt. A recent leak from Redditor seryphez put in a lot of detail into the upcoming TES6 game. The source of his information looks to be an art director at BGS Maryland. He also put in some details of Starfield.
According to the Leak, the game cannot be expected before late 2024 or even 2025 which is a piece of disappointing news. Now the Elder Scrolls community moderators accepted the post but warned that the leaker is not a credible source and we say the same. Here is the detailed information he posted.
The main gist of the plot goes like:
The game does, in fact, take place in Hammerfell, and the right half of Highrock. The team at Bethesda wants to make the full Provence playable, but they don’t know if they’ll have the game done in time for a release of Q4 2024.
I don’t have much of the story but I do have a little bit of the beginning of the game, and some of the plot. My source states that you are a POW from Skyrim trying to cross the border due to the civil war from Skyrim and the dragon attacks. some Redguard bandits captured you as you were crossing the border from Falkreath into Hammerfell. You are bound and tied to a stake. You are about to be killed when some warriors from the nearby city of Elinhir show up. They are looking for more recruits to the fight against the Aldmeri Dominion.
The leak also stated some destruction and conjuration spells.
- Conjure Sword
- Conjure Bow
- Conjure Axe
- Conjure Mace
- Conjure Spear
- Conjure Scimitar
- Conjure Camel
- Conjure Horse
- Conjure Shield
- Conjure Wall
- Various Weapons:
- One Handed Swords
The leveling up system is similar to both Skyrim and Oblivion. My source didn’t go into anymore detail than that.
- Two Handed
- One Handed
We will have to wait a long time to see how credible this information is. So stay tuned for more updates.
