The latest chapter of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is out online. In the chapter, we saw Tanjiro getting back to a conscious state after combine efforts of Murata and Yushiro. He was having illusions of his ancestor in an unconscious state since Muzan attacked him.
On the battlefield, when others were keeping Muzan busy in the fight with the help of Talismans, Himejima saw Muzan’s body in the transparent world and found that Muzan has several moving hearts and brains; that’s why he can’t be defeated with his head cut off. Himejima told other pillars to see the same, and everyone was shocked to see the Muzan’s body. When the scene changed, and everyone was defeated in a matter of seconds. Everyone was having in severely beaten to death except Kanao, who was lying in front of Muzan.
When Muzan launched an attack on her, Tanjiro cut off his arm with Hinokami Kagura and saved Kanao. Tanjiro was looking awful because of losing an eye, and some portion of his head was coming out.

The pillars have been defeated, Nezuko is on her way to the battlefield, and Tanjiro, in his mutated form, stands alone against Muzan. In the next chapter, the final battle will begin where Tanjiro will go all out against Muzan. He may use that last breathing form about which we will see some flashbacks very soon.
