Stray Blade: How Long To Beat

Stray Blade: How Long To Beat

Released on 20 April, Stray Blade is a new title from the German game development studio, Point Blank Games. The game takes you on a journey as Farren West, a rogue adventurer, who travels the valley of Acrea with his wolf companion, Boji. While exploring the ancient valley, Farren will encounter tough bosses who could kill him in one fell swoop if he isn’t careful. Veterans of the souls-like genre will find this game enjoyable as Stray Blade takes heavy inspiration from games like Dark Souls and Sekiro. This means a combat that is as punishing as the boss itself if you don’t master it quickly. Stray Blade is a purely single-player experience with no co-op or multiplayer included. And so being a narrative-led game, how long does it take to beat it from start to finish?

Games lengths have increased quite a lot in the past three decades. Even single-player indie games require at least a minimum of fifteen or twenty hours to complete. AAA games are just on another level entirely. Developers are now constantly trying to create massive games with a grand story attached to them. But not all players have the time to finish a game in one sitting. That is something only a few people can do. So, how long does Stray Blade take to complete? Can it be finished in a short amount of time? Or does it take more than thirty hours to finish? Let’s find out!

We can’t really give an exact number on the game’s length, yet. Stray Blade is a very new game and as such many players are yet to finish it. But considering it’s an indie single-player game, it should take about 20-25 hours to complete. This is just speculation from our side and not any confirmed update, so take this information with a pinch of salt. Well, want to know how we came to this conclusion?

This is usually how long most indie single-player games take to beat entirely. Along with that, the game’s storage space requirement is around 30 GB, so this solidifies the fact that the content Stray Blade offers cannot be more than 20-25 hours, or even less, considering its visuals and graphical fidelity. Obviously, this isn’t counting all the achievements and side quests. Usually, completionists add some more hours to that game length since achievements particularly, can take a lot of time depending upon the player’s skill level. So, whether you are a new entry to the souls-like genre or a veteran, expect at least 20 hours of content in Stray Blade.

Once we receive any concrete details about the game’s length, we will be sure to update this article. Don’t forget to bookmark us to get the latest on gaming.
