stardew valley

Stardew Valley is an open-world RPG game. You have an old plot, some tools, and a few coins at the starting of the game and you are going to build a farm and explore the world. But Stardew Valley is not all about farming, you can do a lot of other things like fishing, foraging, mining, and combat.

Being an open-world game, you can do anything you can think of raising livestock, growing crops, you can even start your own family.

You can also play Stardew valley in multiplayer with other players here how you can set up for multiplayer?

To play multiplayer you have to follow these simple steps mentioned below:

  • Firstly, On the start menu, you have to select co-op.
  • Then it will take you to the screen where you can join other player sessions or you can start your new session.
  • Let’s say you want to start your new session, for this you have to select the host.
  • Then there will a customization screen opened where you can customize your character, which pet you want, and in which map you want to play.

Note:

There are also options like starting cabin, cabin layout, profit margin, and money style. I will explain these four options to you one by one.

Starting cabin

This is the number of cabins you want on your map allowing your friends to join immediately, there is the option of 1 to 3 cabins or you can select “None” and build the cabins yourself.

Cabin layout

If you start with pre-existing cabin, there are two options of “nearby” and “separate” cabins. In the “nearby” option the game places all the cabins near the main farmhouse. In “separate” the game places them far away from each other.

Profit margin

You can adjust the profit you get on the goods you sell. “Normal” is the original stardew experience. A more experienced player may want to decrease the margins.

Money style

The last option in this list is, you can choose how money is earned and spent. The two options are “shared” and “separate”. In the “shared” mode player will share the same money pool and in “separate” each player will have their own pool of money.

So these are all the options that you can change and select, after selecting according to your needs you can press “ok” and after watching a cutscene you are all set up and you can invite your friends to play with you from the options menu. Your friends also have to go through the character creation process.

After getting all things done you and your friend can enjoy playing with each other. One other exciting thing is that your friend can play with you from a platform different than you, for example, they can play with you from windows pc while you are on console.
