Star Wars Outlaws Transfer Save Files from Ubisoft+ to Steam How to do it (2)

Have you played Star Wars Outlaws previously when it was not available on Steam? Did you pick the game again on its Steam release for its new content and DLC? Well, in that case, you would want to dive straight into the new stuff without going all over again on the grind you might have already put in before the Steam release. Coming to the point, how can you transfer your saved files from Ubisoft+ to Steam? Continue reading to find out.

Replaying a game that you have already played through once can feel like a chore at times, and in the case of Star Wars Outlaws, where the DLC is triggered by completing a quest, transferring your old save files becomes all the more important. But is this even possible? If so, how can it be done? Time for all the details!

Star Wars Outlaws Transfer Save Files from Ubisoft+ to Steam: How to do it

Thankfully, transferring saves is possible as Star Wars Outlaws supports cross-platform progression! Even the developers have mentioned that it is the cloud saves, which are accessible across all platforms as long as you log in with the same Ubisoft account. Now, if you have not yet saved your files on the cloud, here are the steps to do just that, which eventually will let you transfer your progress across various platforms.

How to transfer saved files?

  • First of all, make sure you are logged into the same Ubisoft account on all platforms where you want to access your saved progress.
  • While in the game, navigate to the save menu. You can do this either through the main menu or the in-game pause menu.
  • Here, in the save menu, locate the saved file you want to transfer. Hover over it to highlight your selection.
  • With the save file selected, choose the “Upload to Cloud” option. This will sync the selected save to Ubisoft’s cloud storage.
  • It is now time to switch to the desired platform! So, on the platform where you want to continue playing, log into the same Ubisoft account.
  • Go through the normal process, open the game, and head straight to the save menu. You should see the uploaded cloud save available for download. Select it to load your progress.
  • And there you have it! Just like that, you are all set to continue from where you last left the game!

Important Notes

Now, although the game supports cross-platform professions, there is a slight caveat. That is: Only One Save File at a time can be saved. Yes, you heard that right! You can upload only one saved file to the cloud at a time, so make sure it’s the correct one before uploading.

Well, that is how you can transfer your saved game files from Ubisoft to Steam for Star Wars Outlaws. We hope you got all the answers to your question, and speaking about progression in Star Wars Outlaws, click here to clear out all the confusion regarding the missing DLC and other deluxe items in the game.
