Sons of the Forest Infinite Zipline Bug Is there any fix yet

Welcome to the captivating world of Sons of the Forest, where you embark on a journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat! The game takes you on a thrilling adventure through dense forests and abandoned caves. You’ll encounter strange creatures that will make your skin crawl and puzzles that will test your problem-solving skills. However, since the game is still in the Early Access phase, numerous players have been sharing their experiences of encountering various bugs in the game, ranging from the Binoculars glitch to the problem of Snow/Rain Inside the Base. Therefore, there seems to be a significant number of bugs present in the game. In this article, we will go over another bug that has been plaguing the players, the Infinite Zipline Bug in Sons of the Forest.

One player who has been facing this issue posted about the same in the Sons of the Forest subreddit. According to the player, if you happen to hit the pause button during a zipline ride and wait for a bit before resuming, you might find yourself flung forward at high speed when you resume the game. The longer you wait before resuming, the further you’ll be launched forward. In fact, if you time it right near the end of the zipline, you can actually jump past the endpoint and keep flying through the air until you collide with an obstacle such as a tree or rock. Keep reading to know if there is any fix for this issue.

Now, as of writing this article, the devs have not acknowledged this particular bug and there is no official fix yet. However, keep in mind that there are other zipline-related bugs in the game and a future update will surely squash these bugs. So patience is key. While this bug may not exactly be a game-breaking issue, it can certainly add some unexpected excitement to your gameplay. And if you find yourself stuck in your playthrough because of this issue, or if the bug launches you off the map, then there are a few things that you can try to resume your journey.

Restart the game

The first thing to do is to restart the game. This may sound simple but sometimes it is all that is needed to avoid such bugs. So close your game and launch it after a few minutes. Hopefully, you will spawn on the ground where you intended to.

Reload a previous save

Additionally, you can also try to go back to a previous save if you can afford to lose some progression. This will hopefully, reset the game and help you evade the bug the next time you take a zipline.

While it can be frustrating to deal with bugs, it is important to remember that early-access games are still in development and developers rely on player feedback to identify and fix these issues. So, if you encounter a bug while playing an early access game, don’t hesitate to report it and help make the game better for everyone. And that’s a wrap!
