Steam Deck

The Steam store page for Songs of Syx mentions that the game supports SteamOS and Linux. This means that it is capable of running on the Deck natively. Even though it’s not officially “Deck Verified” yet, which means it’s not guaranteed to work perfectly on the Steam Deck, it’s labeled as playable on it. Additionally, on the ProtonDB page, which is a database where people share their experiences running Windows games on Linux using compatibility tools like Proton, Songs of Syx is listed as “native supported”. This means it runs like a game specifically made for Linux, which is great news. Players who have installed the game on their Decks reported that they were able to play the game without running into significant issues. So, even without the Verified badge, Songs of Syx can be enjoyed on the Steam Deck.

Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go

For devices like the Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go, there isn’t much information available regarding Songs of Syx’s compatibility. There’s no official support mentioned for these devices, and there haven’t been any player reports confirming whether the game runs on them. However, considering the game’s low system requirements and lightweight nature, we believe it should be playable on these devices quite easily. Both the Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go are powerful enough to handle games with similar or even higher requirements than Songs of Syx, so running it shouldn’t be out of the ordinary for them.

Well, that’s all the information we have for now. Remember, Songs of Syx is still in early access, and as time passes and the game reaches its full release, the developers might release official support for Steam Deck. However, this is still speculation, so it’s best to take it with a grain of salt. Anyway, don’t forget to bookmark DigiStatement for more gaming articles like this one.
