Smash Bros. Ultimate is the best Smash game till date. It is not just popular because of it’s amazing gameplay but also because of the variety of amazing fighters . All of your favorite characters from your favorite games are here from Mario to even Steve from Minecraft. In Smash Bros. Ultimate Pyra/Mythra are the new fighters to be added to the game.
Who is Pyra/Mythra?
Pyra/Mythra is/are the main characters in the game Xenoblade Chronicles 2. They is/are now the newest addition to the roster of Smash Bros. Ultimate. Pyra and Mythra are the two playable alternates in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Pyra has fire-based powers and Mythra has light-based powers which will be seen in the game.
The Announcement
It was announced in twitter by the official NintendoAmerica handle -“Tune-in on 3/4 at 6am PT for an in-depth look at the new Super #SmashBrosUltimate DLC fighter, Pyra/Mythra, with Director Masahiro Sakurai. He will also reveal the fighter’s release date!”

The video will be approximately 35 minutes long and apparenlty no new fighters will be announced.
The Public Opinion
As usual when a new fighter is added the public opinion is always divided but nothing can be done anything about it. Most of the people in the community welcomed the new fighters but there were still a few people who wanted their favorite charaters to be added. The leading candidate in the public opinion was the Among us guy.
What next?
As it was said in the comment of this tweet that no new fighters will be added. As we know that is not always the case but this season it may come true. We may not get any new fighters in this season. Not to worry as with the addition of Pyra/Mythra now, there are a total of 80 playable characters.
